According to an *Orlando Sentinel article

published on 10/2023 “Cancer is rising in

Central Florida's Young Adults”, the Florida

Cancer Connects Collaboratives Annual

Report rates, show that new cancer

diagnosis in young adults 20 to 39,

rose 91.9% per 100,000 in 2020.

 

Doctors advice that more cancer awareness

should be provided to millennials who are now

at a higher risk, to increase early diagnosis.

The Florida Cancer Survivor Network’s goal

is to reach them through our seminars, events

and support groups!
